A little bit about me.  I understand that the decision to hire an attorney – and which one to hire – is difficult, especially when the dispute involves your family.

My experience.  With more than twenty years of experience, I have been fortunate to gain insight and experience at large and small law firms, and while running my own law practice.  With extensive familiarity with negotiation and court procedures, personnel and strategy, I am comfortable and confident both at the negotiation table and representing clients before a judge or jury.  I have had the privilege of representing hundreds of individuals and business owners in Massachusetts, and I am passionate about helping each and every client make informed and confident decisions for his or her family, work or business in the most cost-effective fashion possible.

I regularly appear in the Commonwealth’s Probate And Family Courts on matters involving divorce, paternity, custody, support and guardianship.  I have a business and finance background that routinely proves helpful in family law cases, particularly in complex matters that require keen attention to business and accounting practices.  I also have significant experience as a former guardian ad litem investigator in contested custody cases, and help clients manage even the most difficult custody and probate matters.

Here for you.  While my experience is essential to my effective representation of your interests, I also pride myself on the simple (but unfortunately unusual) trait of being here for you – meaning that I will take and return your calls promptly, personally answer all emails, and execute all aspects of your case efficiently, with an eye to saving time and money, while keeping your specific goals in mind at all times.

I was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1997, and I am also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

I was a magna cum laude graduate of Bentley College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance, and a cum laude graduate of Boston University School of Law. While in law school, I was an editor of the Boston University Law Review.
